Summary of the EGM held on January 30th 2012

Kindly be advised that the Extraordinary General Assembly of Elsewedy Electric SAE, Commercial Register No. 14584, Cairo Investment Registration Office, was held at 8:30 am today, presided by the Non‐Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Sadek Ahmed Elsewedy, the Secretary of the Meeting was Mr. Mahmoud Shaarawy and both Mr. Mohamed Magdy Selim and Mr. Moustafa Hamed Mohamed were Scrutineers. The Meeting was held at the administrative branch of the Company located at 27, the First Service Sector, 90 Street, Fifth Settlement, in accordance with the add published in Al Ahram and El Shorouk Newspapers on 13/1/2012 and 19/1/2012 respectively.

After discussing the proposals for the amendment of the Company’s Statutes, it was resolved to amend Articles 21, 26, 28, 29, 48 and 55 of the Statutes for the reasons outlined in the Memorandum submitted on 11/1/2012.
