Elsewedy Electric Algeria has inaugurated a production unit for electric cable accessories in Algeria. Establishing this production plant cost $ 1 million and can produce 100,000 units a year.

With its inauguration, Elsewedy Electric brings together all the trades of the electricity value chain in Algeria.

The company has already installed production units in the country that offer solutions such as cables and accessories, as well as components for energy transformers, generation, transmission and distribution of energy.  These factories manufacture 30,000 tons of electrical cables and assemble 3,000 transformers a year.

Elsewedy Electric Algeria has been operating in Algeria for 10 years, has 600 direct employees and 1000 indirect employees with a local integration rate of 35% and 45% share of the Algerian electrical equipment market.
