Elsewedy Electric cuts carbon footprint to 58 tons

Elsewedy Electric is more than just a company. Our work has reflected our strategy to become more climate-safe and achieve overall sustainable development. We set the bar high after agreeing on the Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) then the Paris Climate Agreement in 2015. Since then, we became an integral part of the global efforts to hold the increase of temperatures caused by human activity to well below 2 ºC, increasing the ability to adapt to the adverse impacts of climate change, and making finance flows consistent with a pathway towards low greenhouse gas emissions. To meet these changing consumer expectations and to help mitigate climate change, Elsewedy Electric took many initiatives related to carbon foot printing and carbon labeling to successfully bring down our carbon footprint to 58 tons in 2019 from 66 tons in 2018.
