Elsewedy Electric partakes in building Egypt’s Iconic Tower

Elsewedy Electric, through its transformers subsidiary, signed a USD 2.4 M contract with China State Construction Engineering Corp. (CSCEC) to supply Dry-Type transformers for the central business district in The New Administrative Capital in Egypt. The transformers will be used for the infrastructure of the iconic tallest building in Egypt & Africa, at a height of 385m (80 floors), as well as The Central Utility Complex, and three other towers.

The signing event was attended by CSCEC, Hu Wenmin, Vice General Manager, Shi Jinacho MEP Commercial and Contracts Manager, Huang Zizhou, MEP Engineer, and Elsewedy Electric Transformers Sales Director, Tarek Ismail, and Sales Manager, Ahmed Darwish .
