Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA) continues to provide world-class vocational education in Egypt

With the inauguration of Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA) in 2011, Elsewedy Electric Foundation took it upon itself to invest heavily in technical education in Egypt to transform the nation's outlook towards such a vital field. In this regard, STA has proudly participated in the 2nd edition of EDU TECH – the international fair and forum for technical, dual-system education, and vocational training. The event was held from February 20th – 21st 2023 at Kempinski Royal Maxim Palace. Through its distinguished booth at EDU TECH, STA students shared their educational experiences with participants, met visitors' inquiries with proper explanations, and assisted new applicants with their forms. With a session titled "Establishing Private TVET Institutions and Other Forms of Financing the System", the CEO of Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA) – Mrs. Hanan Elrihany conducted a speech on STA's successful educational model. Moreover, one of STA's loyal students as well has been given the chance to give a talk on her successful learning journey at Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA), highlighting how she got accepted – in less than a monthfrom graduation – at one of the international companies.

 

Following this remarkable success, STA premises has warmly welcomed a high-profile delegation from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), headed by Dr. Lamise Negm – CSR Advisor to the Governor, and accompanied by diverse representatives from the banking sector. During the field visit, which encompassed a tour around the STA campus and ISKRAEMECO, they had a chance to discuss future and potential cooperation for STA.

 

Complementing its track record of outstanding accomplishments, STA is joining forces with various entities and organizations across Egypt and the whole region to promote & enhance the technical    and vocational education and training (TVET), through specific initiatives and projects tackling the needs of the labor market to qualify the technical workforce according to international standards , STA signed a cooperation agreement with LEGRAND – the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure – to sponsor the Electrical Installation lab & 16 enrolled students in the field of Electrical Maintenance in Saddat School for 3-years
