As part of his tour to the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), the Prime Minister - Dr. Mustafa Madbouli - visited ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC's pivot factory; Elsewedy Wataneya for Industries and Engineering Projects (SWIEP), accompanied by SWIEP CEO - Eng. Tamer Nafea, and SWIEP Deputy Chairman for Infrastructure - Eng. Ahmed Ouda.

Striving to localize the industry in Egypt, SWEIP is set to be the first local facility manufacturing pivots at Sokhna360 – the promising project developed by Elsewedy Industrial Development (SID), a subsidiary of ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC. SWEIP factory covers an area of 120K SQMs and is expected to produce 2,500 devices per year.

Sokhna 360 is the first sustainable and integrated city in the region, covering an area of 10 million SQMs to encompass industrial, logistical, commercial, residential, and educational zones.
