Underground Tunnel for the First Time in Egypt

For the first time in the MEA Region, (Elsewedy Cables – TK Projects) a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric succeeds in the interface of the 3 main electrical substations in the Administrative Capital with EHV cables 220 kv through underground tunnels, with total length of 8 km. The Minister of Electricity stated that this project was carried out in record time with the highest HSE standard.
