Elsewedy Electric Expands Digital Energy Payment Solutions in Egypt

Elsewedy Electric is playing a key role in driving digital transformation across Egypt’s energy sector through a strategic collaboration between its subsidiary Iskraemeco and Sahl, aimed at expanding digital payment solutions and prepaid electricity and water meter charging services nationwide. 

The partnership builds on successful integrations with governmental electricity companies and extends services to private sector operators and gated communities, broadening access to essential utility services. Through the Sahl mobile application, its widespread point-of-sale (POS) network, and the Iskraemeco application powered by Sahl’s secure payment gateway, customers can benefit from seamless, efficient, and reliable payment experiences for essential services. 

This collaboration reflects Elsewedy Electric’s broader strategy to integrate advanced digital technologies into energy management systems, enhancing service accessibility and operational efficiency. By combining smart metering solutions with digital payment platforms, the initiative supports a more user-centric and technologically advanced utility ecosystem, aligned with Egypt’s ongoing digital transformation agenda.
