Elsewedy Electric Achieves MID Certification for Smart Water Meter

Elsewedy Electric has achieved a key milestone in its digital solutions portfolio through its subsidiary Iskraemeco, with the Iskrasonic IW.1 smart water meter successfully obtaining the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) certification, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, internationally compliant technologies. 

The MID certification, one of the most recognized standards in Europe, confirms that the Iskrasonic IW.1 meets stringent requirements for accuracy, reliability, and safety in water measurement. This achievement strengthens customer confidence in the product and  enables broader market access across European markets, supporting Elsewedy Electric’s global expansion strategy.
