Elsewedy Electric PSP welcomed Mr. Károly Mátrai, CEO of MVM Group, along with his leadership team, to its headquarters, reinforcing the strength of the strategic partnership behind the Mátra Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Project in Hungary. The visit reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to delivering one of Hungary’s most significant energy developments in decades. Discussions focused on project progress, collaboration milestones, and the long-term vision for strengthening supply security and advancing the country’s clean energy transition. The 520 MW hydrogen-ready CCGT unit at Visonta will be Hungary’s largest combined cycle power plant and the first in the country capable of integrating up to 30% hydrogen in its fuel mix. Designed to enhance grid flexibility, efficiency, and renewable integration, the Mátra Project represents a cornerstone of Hungary’s energy strategy and a flagship European reference for Elsewedy Electric PSP’s growing global footprint.

Elsewedy Electric PSP Receives Official PAC From Alstom Transportation
We are thrilled to announce that ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC PSP has officially received the Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) from Alstom Transportation, marking the successful completion of our installation works for the iconic Cairo Monorail. This achievement represents a vital chapter in a 57km journey that seamlessly connects the New Administrative Capital to Nasr City. As the first fully integrated, driverless urban monorail system in the Middle East and Africa, this project is reshaping the regional landscape with a 100% electric, automated infrastructure. By delivering the specialized the fully installed by our in-house team using a self-execution methodology for the Power Rail and Signaling scopes. we have demonstrated our capability to handle the most complex technical challenges, especially by complete design, manufacturing, and testing of the installation carts, which was one of the remarkable milestones achieved at the project. The monorail train will debut moving 20,000 passengers per hour, it is engineered to scale to a massive 90,000 passengers per hour, with automated trains running every 90 seconds. With the successful handover of our installation works, we have now officially transitioned into the defect liability and warranty phase. Rowad Delivers Restoration of Jeddah’s Red Sea Museum Landmark in cooperation with First Gulf Company
As a recognized leader in heritage restoration across the region, with a long-standing track record in complex restoration and structural strengthening, ROWAD was selected by the Saudi Ministry of Culture as the specialized restoration contractor. In cooperation with First Gulf Company, ROWAD delivered a comprehensive restoration and rehabilitation program that preserved the authenticity of this early-20th-century heritage landmark while upgrading it to modern museum standards. The scope included specialized restoration, and structural strengthening work for the Museum Building and the iconic Canopy, as well as complete internal and external architectural finishing work under an integrated coordination model across architectural, structural, and civil engineering disciplines.. As part of the overall program, Rowad also constructed and delivered the Annex Building, aligned with the museum’s functional, operational, and architectural standards, supported by a controlled, multi-interface execution strategy to safeguard design intent and ensure cohesive asset-wide delivery. Located on the historic waterfront, the Red Sea Museum stands today as a landmark destination celebrating the Red Sea’s maritime legacy and coastal heritage. The transformed museum will showcase the history of the Red Sea, rare maritime and cultural artifacts, and the stories of trade, pilgrimage, and coastal life that connected civilizations for centuries, positioning it as a major cultural destination within Saudi Arabia’s growing cultural tourism landscape. ROWAD confirmed that delivery was enabled through a highly collaborative partnership framework with stakeholders, supported by early technical alignment and shared commitment to quality and heritage preservation. The opening of the Red Sea Museum supports Saudi Vision 2030 by enriching the Kingdom’s cultural landscape, supporting tourism, and enhancing quality of life through meaningful heritage destinations.
