Elsewedy Electric Advances Solar Energy Development in Saudi Arabia

Elsewedy Electric continues to expand its footprint in regional renewable energy markets through its contribution to the Tabarjal Solar PV Independent Power Plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supplying advanced cable accessories for the 400 MWAC project. 

Delivered through its subsidiary, Elsewedy Electric Industrial Saudi Manufacturer of Cable Accessories, the company is supporting one of the Kingdom’s flagship renewable energy projects under Round 4 of the National Renewable Energy Program (NREP), led by the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC). The project forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to diversify its energy mix and accelerate the transition toward clean energy in line with Vision 2030. 

Elsewedy Electric’s scope includes the supply of high-quality cable accessories designed to ensure reliable and efficient power transmission across the solar facility. The contribution reflects the company’s integrated capabilities across manufacturing, technical delivery, and supply chain management, enabling it to meet the demands of large-scale energy infrastructure projects. 

This milestone builds on Elsewedy Electric’s growing track record in Saudi Arabia’s renewable energy sector, where the company has successfully delivered major solar projects, including large-scale photovoltaic developments exceeding 300 MWp, further strengthening its position as a trusted partner in the Kingdom’s energy transition.
