Elsewedy Electric PSP Receives Official PAC From Alstom Transportation

We are thrilled to announce that ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC PSP has officially received the Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) from Alstom Transportation, marking the successful completion of our installation works for the iconic Cairo Monorail. 

This achievement represents a vital chapter in a 57km journey that seamlessly connects the New Administrative Capital to Nasr City. As the first fully integrated, driverless urban monorail system in the Middle East and Africa, this project is reshaping the regional landscape with a 100% electric, automated infrastructure. 

By delivering the specialized, fully installed by our in-house team using a self-execution methodology for the power rail and signaling scopes. 

We have demonstrated our capability to handle the most complex technical challenges, especially by complete design, manufacturing, and testing of the installation carts, which was one of the remarkable milestones achieved at the project. The monorail train will debut moving 20,000 passengers per hour, it is engineered to scale to a massive 90,000 passengers per hour, with automated trains running every 90 seconds. 

With the successful handover of our installation works, we have now officially transitioned into the defect liability and warranty phase.
