SCZONE Utilities has awarded the contract for the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant in the Ain Sokhna Southern Zone, marking another milestone in the development of the region's utility infrastructure. The project will help meet the growing needs of developers and investors while supporting continued industrial growth across the area.
The expansion includes Phase 2 and Phase 3, increasing the plant's treatment capacity by 25,000 m³/day to reach a total of 35,000 m³/day. The scope covers the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the new facilities, ensuring reliable and sustainable wastewater treatment services for existing and future developments.
The expansion will play a key role in strengthening wastewater treatment capabilities across the SCZONE while supporting future industrial investment and long-term economic development. The project reflects SCZONE Utilities' ongoing efforts to develop the infrastructure needed to support the region's continued growth.
