Elsewedy Electric Completes Strategic Pipelines Crossing Project
Elsewedy Electric Infrastructure has completed the Pipelines Crossing Project, delivering one of the project's most technically complex components through the construction of a specialized crossing capable of carrying eight carbon steel pipelines, each measuring 2,500 mm in diameter. At the heart of the development is a 112-meter steel bridge requiring approximately 1,500 tons of structural steel, showcasing the scale of engineering and execution involved.
This project is located in Borg El Arab between Pump Station 3 and Pump Station 4, enabling the safe conveyance of treated wastewater across major transportation corridors, including the existing railway line, the high-speed rail network, and the Hayah Karima Road. It ensures uninterrupted water transmission while integrating seamlessly with existing transport infrastructure.
By strengthening the water transmission network serving newly reclaimed lands south of the El Dabaa Axis, the project supports Egypt's agricultural expansion and sustainable land development initiatives. The successful completion of this milestone highlights Elsewedy Electric Infrastructure's ability to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects that contribute to long-term national development.
