Elsewedy Electric Indonesia Hosts Australia Technical Seminar 2026 to Advance Power Transformer Technology

Elsewedy Electric Indonesia has held its Australia Technical Seminar 2026 in Melbourne on 15 September and Sydney on 17 September, building on the success of its inaugural edition. Now in its second year, the seminar is envisioned as an annual platform for knowledge sharing, technical discussion, and closer engagement with customers across the Australian energy sector. This year's edition, themed "Power Transformer – Technology, Trend and Challenges," reflected the evolving role of power transformers in supporting the transformation and expansion of Australia's electricity infrastructure. 

Through a series of technical presentations and discussions, participants explored the latest developments in power transformer technology, manufacturing innovations, insulation systems, bushings, and after-sales services. The seminar featured collaboration with Weidmann and Trench High Voltage Products Ltd., Shenyang, bringing complementary expertise on transformer insulation paper and bushing technology. The event gathered customers and industry representatives from utilities, renewable energy, and EPC contracting, with President Director Akram Gamea and Head of Business Unit Power Transformer Himawan Samodra representing Elsewedy Electric Indonesia and engaging directly with attendees in both cities. 

A key highlight of the seminar was the opportunity to receive direct feedback from customers on their expectations, technical requirements, and field challenges, insights that will help Elsewedy Electric Indonesia continue improving its products, services, and after-sales support.
