Elsewedy Electric Indonesia participated in the CIGRE Paris Session 2026, held from 23 to 28 August at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. Held every two years, the CIGRE Paris Session is one of the world's leading international platforms for power system experts, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge, share innovations, and explore the developments shaping the future of the global power sector.
A key highlight of the company's participation was the presentation of its technical paper, "Impulse Voltage Distribution and Transferred Surge in Transformer Winding with Series Reactor – A Case Study," delivered by two of Elsewedy Electric Indonesia's Design Engineers. The paper passed the selection process through CIGRE Australia, the company's regional membership, before being accepted for presentation in Paris, and was also published in ELECTRA, CIGRE's official digital magazine. The study offers technical insights into transformer behavior under impulse conditions, contributing to considerations in transformer design, insulation performance, and overall system reliability.
