This collaboration reaffirms ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC's commitment to providing integrated energy, infrastructure, and digital solutions to improve Egypt's urban landscape. 

 

As part of this arrangement, ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC will supply innovative energy solutions, such as cables, transformers, busway systems, and meters, to significant projects such as Safia, The Crest, Aian, The Vill, Creek Town, and Glen. These cutting-edge technologies will assure efficiency, dependability, and sustainability across all advancements, meeting the highest industry requirements. 

 

Ahmed Elsewedy, CEO and President of ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, and Nader Khozam, Chairman and CEO of IL CAZAR, both attended the signing event, which took place at the company's headquarters. This collaboration expands ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC's position in several industries, including real estate, hospitality, transportation, industrial and mining, water, wastewater, healthcare, and renewable energy.

ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC Power System Projects (PSP), in a joint venture with The Arab Contractors and Orascom, has secured a major contract for the construction of Egypt's ambitious High-Speed Rail (Green Line) project. Awarded by the Ministry of Transportation's National Authority of Tunnels, this landmark project will link major cities across the country through an extensive network of 21 stations. 

ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC PSP's role in this monumental undertaking is substantial. The company will be responsible for the construction and testing of seven key stations along the route: New Capital, Wadi El Natroun, Giza, Sidi Abdel Rahman, El Dabaa, Ras El Hekma, and MarsaMatrouh. 

The high-speed rail network, spanning an impressive 675 kilometers, will connect Ain Sokhna to October Gardens, with branches extending south to Al-Ayat and north to Alexandria, Alamein, and MarsaMatrouh. This prominent project is scheduled for completion within 36 months, and will feature state-of-the-art electric trains supplied by Siemens. 

With a design speed of 250 km/h and operational speeds of 230 km/h for express trains, 160 km/h for regional trains, and 120 km/h for electric freight tractors, this high-speed rail network will revolutionize transportation in Egypt, offering unparalleled efficiency and connectivity.

Karem Mahmoud, Channels Business Development Director at Elsewedy Cables, established distributors and traders, new partners for 2024, alongside representatives from ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC. 

The conference focused on two key objectives: contract and certificate renewals, as well as outlining the 2024 distribution network goals. Providing insights into Elsewedy Cables' vision and strategies, Eng. Karem Mahmoud and Mr. Emad Mefreh addressed the attendees. Fiber optic cables are another type of cabling used in structured cabling systems. They are made up of glass or plastic cores that transmit light signals. Fiber optic cables are generally used for long distances or high-bandwidth applications. Structured cabling systems typically include a variety of components, such as closures, patch panels, outlets, modules, racks, and cabinets. Closures are used to terminate and splice cables. Patch panels are used to connect cables to other network devices. Outlets are used to provide access to the network for end users. Modules are used to connect cables to patch panels. Racks and cabinets are used to house and organize cabling components. The type of cabling and components used in a structured cabling system will depend on the specific needs of the network.
