These rigorous tests, conducted in adherence to the latest international standard IEC 60840 Ed. 5.1 (2023), were supervised by DEKRA, a renowned European third-party certification body. The meticulously tested AC power cable system included: 

• One single-core 1x2500mm2 cable rated for 150 kV 
• Two screen-separated joints 
• One metal-enclosed oil-filled GIS termination 
• One metal-enclosed dry-type GIS termination 
• One oil-filled termination with a composite insulator 
• One dry-type termination 

The successful completion of these tests and the subsequent issuance of a certificate from DEKRA mark a significant achievement for Elsewedy Cables, solidifying their position as a leader in high-voltage cable technology.
