Within the Edco micro tunneling project, Elsewedy Electric Infrastructure has made tremendous advancements, conducting pipe jacking operations for the Mahmoudiyah Canal and the potable water canal using state-of-the-art HK micro tunneling machines. Elsewedy Electric Infrastructure has successfully finished the first tunnel with the approximate length of 280 meters and diameter of 4 meters.

Along the Edko-Berseig-Abu Qir assembly route, this project will also involve the construction of box culverts and the laying of approximately 2 km of micro tunneling with a diameter of up to 4 meters.

In an effort to expedite land reclamation in the areas south of the Dabaa axis, a powerful energy processing facility is under construction, boasting a capacity of 7.5 million m3/day, as well as a water transport route.
