The Joint Venture of Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Elsewedy Electric PSP has been granted the Completion Certificate for New Babil 400 kV substation in Iraq. The substation will increase the power transportation capacity, and ensure the stabilization of the power supply to the entire governorate, home to a population of approximately 1.9 million Iraqis.

Elsewedy Electric PSP’s scope of work covers the design, construction, procurement, testing, and commissioning of the 400/132/11 Kv substation in addition to a 24-Month warranty period.

Elsewedy Electric PSP has been partnering with the Iraqi government since 2015, to develop the country’s infrastructure and deliver better living conditions to the people of Iraq.
