To establish the “Rowad without Illiteracy” program, which offers educational sessions to Rowad’s employees in various projects, Rowad Modern Engineering has inked a collaboration treaty with the Farouk El-Baz Foundation.

With the special participation of Dr. Farouk El-Baz, Egyptian Space Scientist and Geologist and Founder of the association, the protocol was signed through Microsoft Teams by Eng. Mohamed Mahlab, President and CEO of Rowad Modern Engineering, Subsidiary of ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, and Mrs. Nazik Al-Alfi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Farouk El-Baz Foundation.

By investing in human capital to promote sustainable development and assist Egypt’s Vision 2030 of becoming a country free of illiteracy, this protocol serves as an illustration of Rowad’s dedication to CSR.

To this end, Rowad has put in place a defined CSR strategy through community participation, regular projects, training, and awareness-raising events that represent shared values.
