SCZONE Chairman Witnesses Allocation Contract Between Elsewedy Industrial Development and Mienta, the French Brand

Elsewedy Industrial Development, a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric, has signed an allocation contract with French brand Mienta to establish its third factory and warehouse in the “Industria Sokhna” project. Eng. Mohamed AlKammah, CEO, of Elsewedy Industrial Development, together with, Nicolas Bouris, Managing Director, Mienta, have signed the agreement, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Hussein, General Manager, of Mienta. The new facility will cover 20,000 square meters and Mienta plans to invest up to USD 5 million for small electric home appliances production. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE). Eng. Mohamed AlKammah, CEO of Elsewedy Industrial Development, expressed pleasure in partnering with Mienta and their commitment to supporting manufacturers through sustainable industrial city development across Egypt and Africa. Nicolas Bouris, Managing Director of Mienta, highlighted the significance of this venture for further growth and expansion as they celebrate their tenth anniversary in Egypt this year. The new factory is expected to create 250 job opportunities while expanding the product range and improving delivery capabilities for neighboring markets.
